Singer Niti Jain is stepping into the world of Bollywood with her playback singing debut in “Sundarnagar Ki Sundari, an upcoming Hindi feature film directed by Sachin Gupta and produced under the banner of Chilsag Pictures.
The film features a stirring soundtrack, and Niti Jain lends her voice to one of its most anticipated songs. The track, composed by the talented Shivang Mathur and written by celebrated lyricist Shayra Apoorva, struck a deep chord with Niti from the moment she first heard it. “The first time I listened to the composition, I was moved to tears. It had such purity and depth—I knew instantly that I wanted to be a part of it,” said Niti.
Recording the song at the iconic Lata Mangeshkar Studio in Mumbai was a significant moment in her career. Niti Jain admitted feeling nervous at first, but the vibrant and welcoming energy of the studio helped her find her footing. “I had heard so much about Lata Mangeshkar Studio, and being there felt surreal. Despite my initial nervousness, the atmosphere was so creative and warm, it made me feel right at home.”
What makes this achievement even more inspiring is Niti’s journey leading up to the recording. At the time, her younger daughter was unwell, making it emotionally difficult for her to travel and focus on work. But with the unwavering support of her two daughters, Niti managed to pursue this dream. “They’ve always believed in me, even when I doubted myself. Their encouragement gave me the strength to give this song my all.”
Sundarnagar Ki Sundari is expected to be a heartfelt cinematic experience, and Niti’s voice adds a powerful emotional layer to the film.
