Every enduring organization begins with a clear belief. For LRP Captivators, that belief was simple yet powerful—that after-sales service in the electronics industry could be faster, more reliable, and more transparent without compromising on quality. At a time when delayed repairs and inconsistent service were considered the norm, LRP Captivators set out to change expectations.
Founded in July 2019 by Lokesh Kirar, LRP Captivators began its journey with a focused team of just 50 professionals. From the outset, the leadership emphasis was not on aggressive expansion but on building strong systems, investing in skilled people, and earning customer trust through consistent performance. The company’s early work in mobile handset repairs laid the foundation for a culture rooted in discipline, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Reflecting on the early phase, Founder Lokesh Kirar shares,
“We didn’t start LRP to be the biggest repair organization. We started it to be the most dependable one. Growth was never the goal by itself—trust was. Everything else followed.”
Instead of chasing rapid scale, LRP focused on strengthening its technical depth. This approach led to a major milestone with the expansion into advanced PCBA Level-4 on-site repairs, enabling the company to handle complex board-level diagnostics and high-precision repairs. This capability positioned LRP Captivators as a technically mature and dependable partner for managing high-value electronic components.
The company’s commitment to quality soon gained industry recognition. In 2020, LRP was entrusted with repaired product quality validation for a global consumer electronics brand, reinforcing its reputation for compliance, consistency, and high repair standards. For the leadership team, this milestone validated a long-term strategy that placed reliability before volume and excellence before speed.
At the heart of LRP’s operational strength is its state-of-the-art 15,000 sq. ft. repair and refurbishment facility in Noida, designed to balance scale with precision. The facility has the capacity to process up to 5 lakh units per month and is powered by nearly 450 trained diploma engineers. For Lokesh Kirar, people remain the cornerstone of operational excellence, supported by robust infrastructure.
The facility features ESD-compliant workstations, fully air-conditioned repair environments, industry-grade equipment, and a secure ecosystem monitored by 100 CCTV cameras, ensuring quality control, safety, and accountability at every stage of the repair lifecycle.
As operations expanded, so did the organization. From its original 50-member team, LRP Captivators has grown into a workforce of nearly 600 professionals, extending its service presence across multiple metro cities and strengthening its pan-India operational footprint.
The year 2023 marked a defining chapter in LRP’s journey. The company became the exclusive repair partner for digital entertainment devices in North India, managing large-scale refurbishment programs that demanded speed, consistency, and operational discipline.
In August 2023, LRP entered the banking and fintech ecosystem, expanding into the repair of POS machines and sound boxes—devices that power millions of daily digital transactions. The responsibility was immense, but LRP delivered. Soon after, the company partnered with a leading digital payments platform and achieved a landmark milestone by refurbishing 1.5 lakh payment devices in just four months, demonstrating its scalability and execution excellence.
Today, LRP Captivators, under the leadership of Lokesh Kirar, stands as more than a repair organization. It has evolved into a dependable service institution built on trust, people, and purpose, consistently raising benchmarks across the electronics, banking, and fintech service ecosystem.
The Road Ahead: Vision for the Next 3–5 Years
Looking forward, Lokesh Kirar envisions LRP Captivators emerging as a center of excellence for electronic lifecycle management. Over the next three to five years, the company aims to deepen its footprint across banking, fintech, and consumer electronics, while expanding into adjacent high-value electronic categories.
The focus will remain on capability building—investing in advanced diagnostics, automation, and data-driven quality systems to further improve turnaround time and repair accuracy. Equally important is strengthening LRP’s people-first culture, with structured skill development programs aligned with rapidly evolving technologies.
Sustainability forms a key pillar of LRP’s future roadmap. By scaling refurbishment operations and extending product lifecycles, the company actively supports e-waste reduction and circular economy practices, aligning business growth with environmental responsibility.
Summing up the vision ahead, Lokesh Kirar notes,
“The next phase of our journey is not just about repairing more devices, but about building systems that set new standards for reliability, responsibility, and long-term value.”
With a clear vision, disciplined execution, and strong leadership, LRP Captivators is poised to shape the future of electronics repair and refurbishment in India—one dependable solution at a time.
