Mumbai, June 24, 2025 — Emerging actor Abhishek Chavan is all set to make his debut in the Hindi film industry with the upcoming feature film Sundarnagar Ki Sundari, which is scheduled for release next month. Produced by Chilsag Pictures and written and directed by Natya Bhushan awardee Sachin Gupta, the film marks a major milestone in Abhishek’s acting journey.
Abhishek, who hails from Vadodara, is overjoyed with the opportunity and says the excitement at home is even higher than his own. His father, Mahesh Chavan, has been a steady and encouraging presence throughout his journey and is currently planning a grand party to celebrate the film’s release. Abhishek Chavan credits his love for acting to his grandfather, who was a theatre actor, and shares a deep bond with his grandmother. A self-proclaimed fan of his mother’s cooking, Abhishek is currently celebrating his birthday with his family in Vadodara as the buzz around his film continues to grow.
Prior to this debut, Abhishek Chavan enjoyed notable success with a hit music album alongside Riva Arora. He also starred in the short film Mahamrityunjay, where he worked with acclaimed Bollywood actress Vidya Malavade. He described Vidya as a highly talented performer and said he had a wonderful experience collaborating with her.
Sundarnagar Ki Sundari was shot in the scenic town of Rishikesh and features a talented ensemble cast including Himanshu Goel , Sahas Pusrwani, Sanskriti Verma, Gracy Goswami, and Virti Vaghani. The film’s music is brought to life by singers Prabhjee Kaur, Niti Jain, and Shivang Mathur. This will be the fourth film from Chilsag Pictures, known for earlier productions like Paranthe Wali Gali and Thoda Lutf Thoda Ishq, the latter featuring Rajpal Yadav and Sanjay Mishra.
