Thangalaan is an upcoming Indian Tamil-language historical action drama film directed by Pa. Ranjith and produced by K. E. Gnanavel Raja under Studio Green and Neelam Productions and Jio Studios. The film stars Vikram and Malavika Mohanan in lead roles alongside Pasupathy, Parvathy Thiruvothu, Daniel Caltagirone and Harikrishnan Anbudurai. It was scheduled to release on 12 April 2024 but some post production work was still left so the makers postponed the release date of the movie. Now it will release later this year, the official date is yet to be announced.

Plot
The plot is set during the British rule in India, Thangalaan, a tribal leader, goes on a valiant struggle against the British, after they plot to seize his land for gold mining.
