Xavier Bartlett was born on 17 December 1998 to parents Kym Bartlett and Kate Bartlett in Adelaide, Australia. During the initial days, he was more fascinated towards swimming, but later on he started to play cricket. He moved with his family to the Gold Coast, Queensland, in 2005 at the age of seven. He began playing junior cricket for Surfers Paradise and made his first grade debut for the Gold Coast Dolphins in November 2015 at the age of 17.
