Early life
Vishnuvardhan was born and raised in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. Since childhood, he has been an active kid and used to participate in every curriculum activity that happened in his school.
Career
Vishnuvardhan was a kid when he got the chance to appear in Mani Ratnam’s film. For the very first time, he appeared in a dance sequence in the movie Anjali. After that, he played the role of young Vijayakanth in Sathriyan and also acted in the film Iruvar. Vishnuvardhan was in college when Santosh Sivan, who was working as a cinematographer for Mani Ratnam’s film The Terrorist, called Vishnuvardhan to act in the film. Vishnuvardhan was so influenced by Sivan’s work that he asked him to work with him as an assistant director, and Vishnuvardhan worked as an assistant director with Sivan for almost seven years in Mumbai while also appearing in films such as Fiza, Mali, and Asoka.
Later, Vishnuvardhan shifted to Tamil Nadu and worked as a director. In 2003, Vishnuvardhan made his directorial debut with the film Kurumbu, but the film did not gain him any fame. Later, Vishnuvardhan directed many films, such as Arinthum Ariyamalum, Pattiyal, Billa, and Panjaa, among others. After making Arrambam, in which Pawan Kalyan played the lead role. The film gained Vishnuvardhan immense fame and popularity in the industry. Then Vishnuvardhan made his debut in Hindi cinema with the film Shershaah in 2021, which gained him awards and popularity in the Hindi film industry.
