Tristan Stubbs was born on 14 August 2000 in small town called Honeydew which exists in Cape Town, South Africa.
Career
Stubbs made his first-class debut for Eastern Province in January 2020, making his List A debut in February. He made his Twenty20 debut in February 2021. In April 2021, he was named in Eastern Province’s squad. In May 2022, he was added to Mumbai Indians’ squad for the IPL and made his T20I debut in June 2022.In March 2023, Stubbs was named in South Africa’s One Day International (ODI) squad for their series against West Indies. He made his ODI debut in the second ODI of the series on 18 March 2023.Stubbs made his Test debut against India in January 2024. He became the first player in 127 years to be dismissed twice on the first day of his Test debut. In December 2023, Stubbs was signed by Delhi Capitals in the auction for the 2024 Indian Premier League. He will also represent, South Africa in the upcoming T20 World Cup.
