Tazmin Brits is a South African Athlete and Cricketer. Currently, she represents the Women’s South African Cricket Team. Tazmin has won gold in the javelin throw at the 2007 World Youth Championships in Athletics. She was in line to be selected for the 2012 Summer Olympics in London before being involved in a road accident, which left her hospitalised for two months. Tazmin Brits was born on 8 January 1991 in Klerksdorp, North West, South Africa. Before becoming a cricketer, she was into javelin throw. Tazmin had a great influence in her family to play sports professionally. Tazmin was a very good at Javelin Throw, she even represented South Africa in athletics at junior level before becoming a cricketer. But than an unexpected serious car accident happened which completely ruined her javelin career. But she did not gave up and than she focused on playing cricket professionally.

Tazmin Brits made his debut in domestic cricket in the year 2010-11, she made a name for herself very quickly as her determination and never give up attitude helped her in surpassing the domestic cricket.
Representing the North West province, he consistently proved to be a reliable opening batter, accumulating runs and helping his team achieve numerous victories. Over the years, Tazmin has played in various domestic competitions, including the Women’s T20 Challenge and South Africa’s domestic one-day and T20 leagues. His consistent performances not only solidified his place in the domestic circuit but also caught the eye of national selectors.
