Early life

Sara Khan was born on 6 August 1989 to parents Parvez Khan and Seema Khan in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh, India. Sara Khan is a Sunni Muslim.

Career

Sara Khan began her journey as a model, earning recognition when she won the title of Miss Madhya Pradesh (also referred to sometimes as Miss Bhopal) in 2007. Her acting break came soon after: she made her television debut as “Sadhna” in the popular show Sapna Babul Ka…Bidaai (2007–2010). That role made her a household name. After leaving Bidaai in 2010, she went on to play “Mona” in Preet Se Bandhi Ye Dori Ram Milaayi Jodi, replacing the earlier actress.

Over the years, she continued to take up varied roles on television: in serials like Junoon – Aisi Nafrat Toh Kaisa Ishq, Sasural Simar Ka (in which she played a shape-shifting “Icchadhari Naagin”), and many others including appearances in shows such as “V The Serial”, “Pyaar Tune Kya Kiya”, “Encounter” and “Tujhse Hi Rabta”. Her television career also extended into the 2010s and beyond, with roles in shows like Bhagyalaxmi (2015), Saubhagyalakshmi (2016), and later appearances in serials such as Spy Bahu (2022) and Palkon Ki Chhaon Mein 2 (2022–2023).
