Karan Patel is a leading Indian television actor and host known for his intense screen presence and outspoken personality. Early life
Karan Patel was born on 23 November 1983 in Kolkata, West Bengal, to parents Rashesh Patel and Minoo Patel. Although born in Kolkata, he grew up in Mumbai, where his interest in acting and the performing arts developed at an early age.
Career
Karan began his television journey in the early 2000s with supporting roles in popular daily soaps. His television debut came with Kahaani Ghar Ghar Kii (2003) followed by shows like Kasautii Zindagi Kay, Kasamh Se and Karam Apnaa Apnaa.
Despite consistent work mainstream fame did not come easily. Years of smaller roles and gradual growth shaped his acting discipline and resilience. His first major lead role arrived with Kasturi (2007) which helped him gain recognition but not stardom.
