Who is Nivin Pauly?

Nivin Pauly is an Indian actor and producer who works predominantly in Malayalam films. He is the recipient of two Kerala State Film Awards, three Filmfare Awards South, two Kerala Film Critics Association Awards, and six SIIMA Awards. He made his acting debut in Vineeth Sreenivasan’s directorial debut, Malarvaadi Arts Club in 2010. The 2012 film Thattathin Marayathu pushed him into stardom. His breakthrough role came in 2015 with the film Premam. His role opposite Sai Pallavi was highly appreciated. Nivin made his debut as a producer with Action Hero Biju under his production company Pauly Jr. Pictures and has produced the films Njandukalude Nattil Oridavela and Kanakam Kaamini Kalaham (2021). Nivin Pauly was born on 11 October 1984 to parents Pauly Bonaventure and Thressiamma Pauly at Aluva, Kerala.

Career

Nivin made his acting debut in the film Malarvaadi Arts Club (2010), directed by Vineeth Sreenivasan, which provided him with initial exposure in the film industry. He gained significant recognition for his role in the romantic movie Thattathin Marayathu (2012), where he was portrayed as a relatable “boy-next-door” character.
